“Maeva began her ballet training at the age of five in a National Conservatory in her hometown of Tarbes, France. Throughout the years she has continued to dance and explore many different styles including Jazz, Modern and Contemporary. Her travels have included stops in France, the United States, and more recently in Canada. After graduating from the University of Montreal she worked as a translator and a French teacher before deciding to pursue

her passion for Ballet. In order to kick start her teaching career she took on a professional traineeship at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts in Halifax and then continued her education in France at Le Archipel and the Institut Supérieur des arts de Toulouse. During these years she experienced workshops and was tutored by professional artists and reputed teachers including Yori Noshida, Laure Muret, Daniel Tinazzi and Jason Beechey. Maeva strives to create a safe and caring learning environment where students are encouraged to express themselves and join her in continuing to learn and evolve. She is currently pursuing a project pairing dance and language learning and is working towards becoming an Associate Member of the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association.”
